Polleo Alluve is an installation comprised of locally harvested tree trimmings to create a unique hanging garden. Throughout the exhibit, the semi-permanent installation is designed to dry and wilt. The botanical compositions are reminiscent of structures constructed and burned during Bhutan’s fire blessing festivals. These wilting hanging bundles are meant to purify and bring prosperity to all that run between them.
